Domain name extensions
From Site5Wiki
(Redirected from TLD)
A domain name extension, or a top-level domain (TLD), is the last part of a website address, aka www.yourdomain.tld.
There are two types of TLDs: the generic top level domains (gTLDs), such as .com, and the official country codes, such as .jp.
TLDs at Site5
We only currently offer gTLDs, and only the following, for registration and transfer:
- .com
- .net
- .org
- .biz
- .info
We plan to support more TLDs in the future. NOTE: We can, of course, host any legitimate domain under the sun!
Clients can register domains for 1-10 years at $8.88 USD per year.
Domains coming up for renewal will receive a 25-day warning and 10-day warning that their domain(s) are coming up for renewal and how to renew.
