Affiliation and Referral Rewards
This is where the magic begins. As soon as you clean the drool off of your keyboard and tell yourself, "Yes, the new Site5 AffiliateRewards system is amazing. Yes! I get to use it," we can walk through the pages and features of your new home away from home.

Overview Page
As soon as you are logged into the system, you will notice that the Affiliate tab is nestled between the Account and Domain tabs in the Site5 Backstage customer portal. You will begin your Affiliate adventure on the Overview; page where, not coincidentally, you will get an overview of your affiliate account.
Payout Levels Table
You refer more new customers and Site5 will pay you progressively more money for each referral as a "Thank You." The tiered payout structure is easy to understand but complicated to explain, so we’ll take a moment to illustrate how it all works:
- If you refer 1 or more account in a month, you will receive $25.00 for every referral (including your first 1).
- If you refer 6 or more accounts in a month, you will receive $50.00 for every referral (including your first 6).
- If you refer 16 or more accounts in a month, you will receive $75.00 for every referral (including your first 16).
You have the potential to make a lot of money simply by telling people about Site5.
The Evolution of a Referral
When someone orders a hosting plan from Site5 through your affiliate URL, that sale becomes a "Pending" referral to your account, meaning that an account has been ordered, but it has not yet matured. New referrals remain Pending for sixty days in which time the hosting customer has the freedom to leave Site5 via the no-risk money back guarantee offered to all new customers.
As soon as the referral crosses the sixty-day threshold, it becomes a "Mature" referral, meaning that Site5 has verified that the customer has been active for sixty days and the referral is available for payout via PayPal or credit to your Site5 hosting account.
Vital Statistics Table
In the Vital Statistics table, you can see key information pertaining to your affiliate account. The first two lines of the table deal with the affiliate credit you have earned from visitors who order Site5 service through referrals, while the rest of the table breaks down important information about the number of visitors that have come to Site5 via your affiliate URL and how many of those visitors ordered a hosting plan.
The first line in the table, "Mature Affiliate Credit," tells you the total amount you have earned from referrals that have matured since your last payout. Your Mature Affiliate Credit balance could be an accumulation of a few months of matured referrals. The payout levels for each of the referrals is calculated based on the calendar month in which the referral matured, so you cannot cross a Payout Level threshold by simply not receiving a payout until you have 10 referrals over the course of a few months.
The next line in the table, "Pending Affiliate Credit," is calculated from the referrals that have not yet been active for sixty days, thus are not mature. Because these referrals are not mature, they are tentatively shown at the minimum per referral rate since that is the minimum you can receive for that referral when it matures.
The final three sections of the table give you a snapshot of the number of visitors you have sent, the number of sales (orders) attributed to your affiliate count, and your conversion rate (sales as a percentage of total unique visitors). In order to have the best understanding of how your affiliate account is performing, you can compare your all-time total statistics against your statistics for the current month and the statistics for the previous month.
Conversion Rate Statistics
In order to help you understand how your account is performing, we have included a graph of your conversion rates on the overview page. Site5 has one of the highest conversion rates in the industry, which is calculated as the number of unique visitors who order hosting as a percentage of all unique visitors to Site5.com in a given time period.
Links and Banners Page
The Links and Banners page in your affiliate control panel is a resource for you in marketing your affiliate account to others. On this page, you will find the direct link URL to use in sending traffic to our site as well as several featured banner advertisements to include on your website to draw visitors.
If you would like to simply direct people to Site5 via a text link, use the Basic Referrer URL at the top of this page. If you would like a graphic for your site, you can continually check this page for updates as we feature new banner advertisements featuring new plans, new prices, or simply our sense of humor.
To add any of the graphics to your site, copy and paste the content from the text box below the graphic you would like to use in the appropriate section of the HTML code of your website.
Detailed Statistics Page
On the Detailed Statistics page, you can track your Sales Statistics, Earnings Statistics, and Conversion Rate Statistics.
In the Sales Statistics graph, you can observe your sales by month. The lighter region shows your total sales for the month, and the darker region shows the sales that were actually approved (the account was still active after 60 days). Note that you won't have any matured sales listed for the past two months because they have not had enough time to mature.
In the Earnings Statistics graph, you will be able to track your earnings historically by month. For this graph, a referral is officially considered "earned" once it matures (passes a 60-day waiting period to ensure the customer remains with Site5). That means the money you're earning this month is actually coming from sales that you made two months ago.
The Conversion Rate Statistics graph is included on this page because it is important to consolidate with the other two key graphs on this dedicated statistics page. As we established in the overview page, your conversion rate indicates what percentage of the traffic you send results in a sale. Note that this graph simply shows raw sales and does not take into account the fact that some sales are discarded because they aren't active after the 60-day waiting period.
Affiliate Referral Statistics
On the Referrers and Traffic page, you can see detailed information for your referral visits, that is, how many unique visitors (by IP) have visited Site5 by way of one of your affiliate links and from which URL they were sent. You can use the data on this page to determine your most effective links, see which ones are under-performing, and compare your links’ current performance with their performance in previous months.
Pending Referrals
On the Pending Referrals page, you can see information about the sales your links have generated in a selected month and how long until the those sales mature into payable referrals. If the sale turns out to be fraudulent or if the customer closes their account within our 60 day money-back guarantee period, the pending referral will be gray and will not mature. After 60 days, if the customer is still active (denoted by a green highlight), the referral will mature and you will receive credit as explained on the overview page. Because we respect the privacy of our customers, all pending and mature referrals are referenced with a Site5-generated identification number rather than by domain name. If you have any questions regarding specific referrals, please email affiliates@site5.com, and our team will help you in any way we can without jeopardizing the privacy of the referred customer.
Mature Referrals Page
On the Mature Referrals page, you can monitor and track the sales that complete their full 60-day waiting period. The referral is said to have "matured" after the referred customer is verified to be active following the waiting period, and the referral amount is applied to directly to your payable affiliate account (or Matured Affiliate Credit balance on the overview page).
Payouts Page
Payouts are made via Paypal in monthly batches. Your payout will appear as "pending" until the next payout batch is sent.
