Site5Wiki:Create a Wanted Page

You want to open a page on a certain topic, either because you want help understanding that topic, or because you want to write the page yourself. First, thank you, either way!

Secondly, here's the process:

1. Type wiki.site5.com/The_Topic in your browser's address bar, and hit the Enter key, just as you do when visiting any URI.

2. You'll be told the wiki page doesn't exist, and offered the chance to create it. Don't panic! Just scroll down to the bottom, and click on the first button, Save Page. Ignore everything else.

3. Your actions have now added that page to the list of Wanted Pages, which we watch specifically for such new entries.

Just remember, Site5 does not consider "newbie" a derisive term. Far from it! So ask questions, create pages for information you seek, and enjoy the sites you maintain. It's all supposed to be fun. --Carla Hufstedler 14:31, 31 January 2007 (EST)
