IceWeasel

IceWeasel is an open source web browser, based upon Mozilla's Firefox, so it is a Gecko-based browser. It is the browser component for IceApe.
Independent software clients from the Ice family:
- IceApe = an Internet suite, a fork of Mozilla's original suite
- IceDove = an email client, a fork of Mozilla's Thunderbird

As is, it's built for Linux, but can be built from source for any POSIX system, such as OSX.

- plugin finder:
Gnuzilla runs its own plugin finder service at gnuzilla.gnu.org. To specify this at runtime, access the url about:config in your browser, find the pfs.datasource.url attribute, and change the host to gnuzilla.gnu.org. Also change the protocol from https to http, if necessary. Be careful not to change the rest of the string (after the first single /).--source
