As this screenshot of SiteAdmin's menus shows, clicking the Web Site Tools menu opens its submenu, and the last choice in that submenu is Backup Management.

Backup Management will allow you to:

1. download today's backup of your home directory;
2. download an MySQL database backup;
3. download an email alias backup; or
4. download an email filter backup.

Step by Step

1. Login to your Backstage account at Image:Backstagefavicon.jpg https://backstage.site5.com/client/auth/login.

2. Click the SiteAdmin tab.

3. From the list of your sites, choose the one you wish to access for backup purposes, and click its domain name.

4. Click on the left-hand-side menu option Web Site Tools, and it will open a list of submenus for you. Click on its submenu entitled Backup Management.

5. From there, you can click and directly download your /home directory's backup; your MySQL databases' backup; and your email aliases and filters information's backup.

6. Image:Exclamation.png To then download any files outside your /home directory, specifically your email directories and any programs you might have developed, you will need to download those directly via FTP. To see from this control panel if you might need or want to take that step, you can view your directories' file structure and files by clicking the first option under Web Site Management: File Manager. This choice will give you a browser-based navigational tool.

Reminder

InnoDB databases must be backed up by the client!
